Also found this gorgeous summery skirt in Hockley's Vintage Warehouse for a fiver. I like the insane amount of button holes on the waistband. Definitely needs a bit of shortening.

This American Apparel skirt wasn't so much of a bargain (it is the first non-discounted item I've bought from there, a very traumatic experience) but I really needed another high-waisted alternative. I'm sure I can get a lot of wear out of it; I think I've pretty much bought all of my summer wardrobe, so will have to reign in the spending a bit to concentrate on more important things like finding placements and taking driving tests.

The result of all this consumption means I somehow have to pack all this (and much, much more) into my Mums car (which really should have been a van). The joys of moving out of Uni housing. I'm going to miss Notts quite a bit, but I'm sure I'll quickly get used to London living.

Wish me luck...hope you all have a nice weekend!

That skirt is just lovely, both of them actually. I always have a little heart attack when paying at AA but a few months down the line you forget & then go back, it's a vicious cycle! Haha. Good luck moving...home? & congrats on finishing uni =)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the packing! It's always a b*tch. The great thing is you can use old shopping paper bags for transporting your stuff. :D
ReplyDeleteI like the pants. I haven't been shopping much :(q
ReplyDeleteThe leggings you asked about are from a store called Urban Behavior.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they ship abroad but you can check out the website here: http://www.urbanbehavior.com/
Hey, thanks for your comment on my blog.
ReplyDeleteCooperativeDesigns was a great place to do placement. I was there for 3 months and was pretty much attached to a domestic knitting machine for the whole time! I knitted a lot of garments for their collection so it was really good practise as before i went i hadn't really knitted garments just swatches. I also helped calculate paper patterns into knit patterns to be knitted on the machine which has also come in handy when having to do my own collection.
Annalisa and Dorothy are both really lovely and easy to get along with as long as you work hard so i'm sure you'd have a great time if you got a placement!
hope that helps!
xx
