Happy Blogoversary to me (plus a House of Holland tights competition)!

Is that even a word?  Never mind, my blog is now one year old! I wasn't sure what it was going to be when I started out, but now I Want You To Know has evolved into a place to share my fashion ramblings, anything from shopping splurges to stiletto confusion.  It's only been in the last few months that I've started to unite my blogging and personal identity, by attending various events and meeting bloggers (plus telling a few friends), but I've found this has made the difference.  I've been able to find like-minded people to discuss fashion and life with (a.k.a shopaholics) and become a total Twitter addict in the process. This blogging journey is just getting interesting and I feel like I've made some wicked new friends.  Result!

I think blogging is a unique snapshot into the world we live in today and I'm finding new and more fascinating reads everyday (my Google Reader is rather full at the moment).  I'm amazed by the resourcefulness and creativity of some bloggers, finding trend items for next to nothing on eBay and educating themselves on the latest Haute Couture collections, taking fashion commentary away from the monied elite and putting it into the heads of real people.  I'm also having lots of fun writing about the things I love (and discovering new things to love, perhaps too many in the case of Asos).  I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to stop by this blog, whether you commented, followed or subscribed, as it really has made me feel happy that my ramblings are of some interest to you.

Speech over; to celebrate my first year of blogging, I have a fun competition for you all.  I am a serious tights lover and recently received another pair of the House of Holland Alphabetights by accident (not complaining).  Instead of keeping them as a spare, I thought they'd be a fun thing to give away to similar, tight-obsessed readers, so here we have...
