One thing I love about street style and blogs is the idea of people wearing what they love, over and over again. Hel looks is probably best for this with all of the practical yet fun layers and stories behind each piece. Shearling is something that's always been around and hit its peak during the Burberry AW 2010 show, which I wasn't fussed with at the time. I remember being confuzzled by the appeal of this Topshop number, someone named it the 'Frank Butcher' coat and that image somehow stays in my head even now. Gradually though, a love of comfy, worn looking outerwear lined with cosy fuzz has started to filter into my head and increased after seeing my friend Claire's £10 charity shop find a few weeks ago. I've seen a few styles I like on the catwalks and need to start the hunt for my own, I think the vintage route will give me the look I want.
Are you feeling the shearling? I know Spring stuff is in the shops but I just can't think that way right now!
