I found your site via google. I love this pattern, it's so simple and the result is beautiful! I just finished a plum colored scarf following your pattern (although mine was made with one 170g skein of yarn, so it's smaller and more close fitting) and it turned out great. I'm planning on making several more for Christmas gifts!

Hey Kristabel, I just want to thank you for posting this scarf pattern. I just bought a soft mauve coloured yarn and I've completed about 6 inches. Can't wait to wear it, as the weather is getting pretty chilly here in Canada. BTW you're my knitting idol!

I've made this ribbed scarf several times and something that has helped me was to cast on a number of stitches so you're always ending your row with a set of pearls. It's easier to put the scarf down after you've finished a row because you're always starting with a set of knits! It has saved me from having to go back and count the rows that i have or fix some mistakes! Hope that helps!

I made a circle scarf from instructions from this website and i'm really pleased with the outcome. Im pretty fast at knitting so it didnt take me long, though it did take me some time to figure out how to connect the ends. I didnt buy enough yarn to make it as big as you suggested, but I made it so that it hangs comfortably around my neck once and twice is for when its cold. Thanks for the great tips! I made this one with thick warm yarn, but Im thinking of making another one with thinner yarn for more of a spring time scarf. Thanks again!!! :)

I just finished knitting this scarf according to your pattern, and it turned out beautifully. I used a maroon colored wool because that is what I had lying around, and the color is a perfect transition from winter to spring. Thank you so much for posting this!

I only just found out that circle scarves existed, but I think they are the best idea! After I found your tutorial yesterday, I went out and bought yarn and needles and taught myself how to knit by watching youtube videos :D
My scarf is looking pretty good so far...Hopefully I can figure out how to cast off and attach the two ends once I'm finished :P You've given me a good Christmas Holidays project!

I will try and describe it as best as I can, I included the above diagram as it's very similar (although the other end is not on needles). When you decide to finish your scarf, grab the other end making sure it isn't twisted and that the wrong sides are together. Begin to knit the first stitch, taking the yarn through the stitch on the needle and the first stitch of the other end of the scarf. Cast off in this way, making sure to pick up stitches from the other end of the scarf thus joining both parts together. E-mail me if this still doesn't make sense.
